There are plans to further major hydrogen projects in Germany with 8.1 billion euros in funding from the state and federal governments. doing hydrogen is represented on the shortlist of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) with six subprojects. The programme of Important Projects of Common European Interest (IPCEI) is coordinated across the EU and aims to link key projects in the fields of production, transport and industrial and mobility applications.
The doing hydrogen partner companies also feature on the IPCEI list with other projects. They are involved in six of the 62 projects on the BMWi list.
