Hydrogen is an important building block in solving the enormous challenge of a swift and socially sustainable decarbonisation of the heating market. This is demonstrated by a study of the heating market conducted by Frontier Economics on behalf of FNB Gas. The heating market accounts for the lion’s share of total energy consumption and fossil fuels still provide up to 80% of it.
